BTU (British Thermal Unit) meters installation project commenced in March. Installation work is almost complete with only few apartments remaining where major modification or apartment access is needed. Meter installation for such units is expected to be completed by 17th of May 2016.
You may have observed open sections in the hallway ceiling. These open sections are needed to install the meters and then for troubleshooting during testing and commissioning. The ceiling works are expected to be completed by end of May.
BTU meters allow fair billing according to actual AC usage of each apartment. It also gives residents a control over and an incentive to reduce their AC usage.
